Donald made his early breakthrough on television by joining his twin brother, Romeo Veshaj, as a resident comedian on the popular Albanian humor show "Al Pazar".

Expanding his presence on television, Donald co-created and hosted the show "3shat" alongside his brother Romeo and television host Bora Zemani.

Donald entered the first season of Big Brother VIP Albania, quickly becoming one of the reality show's most discussed and popular figures. During this general period, he expanded heavily into music, writing and releasing prominent collaborative tracks like "Margarita" (2021) and "TL (Toxic Love)" with Elgit Doda (2021), followed by his solo track "Nuk Je" in early 2022.

Following his viral success on reality television, Donald and Romeo launched their own major primetime show, "Më lër të flas", which successfully ran for consecutive seasons.

In December 2023, Donald shifted away from music to focus on film and architecture/design (through his creative venture, Do Concept). He held a massive press conference and absolute premiere in Tirana for the romantic comedy film "5 Herë Jo", which he co-starred in alongside Bora Zemani.

Expanding his professional portfolio outside of entertainment, Donald co-founded the investment and construction firm "DGC" sh.p.k. alongside partner Glenis Çobo to actively pursue development projects.

Stepping away from traditional TV networks, Donald announced his transition into multi-functional digital broadcasting. In February 2026, he introduced his newest project titled "Prit ta mbaroj", joining the innovative, multi-channel platform and radio network X Media.
